About Us

C. Lee Tree Service is owned and operated by Clayton Lee (but we all know Julia keeps things running behind the scenes). We call Calaveras County home, residing in West Point with our kids, dogs, horses, chickens, and whatever else shows up on our funny farm.

Clayton grew up all over the east coast, where he began his tree business in 2001. In addition to owning his own tree service, Clayton has spent time working for logging companies and chasing hurricanes up and down the coast. Clayton thrives when the going gets tough, and he loved helping homeowners with storm damage cleanup and getting their properties back to livable conditions after the storms.

In 2017. Clayton took a role as a subcontractor cleaning up bark beetle damage in the Placerville, CA area. He fell in love with the landscapes, big trees, and amazing people that he met. By 2019, Clayton and Julia packed up and moved operations to their new home in West Point, CA. 

 

Clayton's favorite saying is "there is a right way, a wrong way, and a better way" to do everything. This rings true for the tree industry. You won't get any misleading sales tactics or smooth talking from Clayton. What you will get is honest, direct, and fair service. Clayton will treat your property like it's his own and bring his decades of experience to the job. We look forward to working with you!
